Condition 8550 (Must notify changes in personal details) states the following-
At the time of writing, the Department of Home Affairs has published incorrect information on its website that could result in a subclass 870 visa holders unintended breach of their visa conditions.
The information published on the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website is legally incorrect. This is not the first time that incorrect details have been published by the DHA, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Visa applicants should not rely on the generic information published on the DHA website to make important visa decisions without seeking professional advice from a Registered Migration Agent, who has the knowledge and skill to apply the current legislation to your individual circumstances and provide you with the most accurate guidance.
